The doctoral (Ph.D.) programmes offered at Malabar Christian College, Calicut are designed to promote advanced research, critical inquiry, and scholarly excellence across recognized research disciplines. Admissions to the Ph.D. programmes are conducted strictly in accordance with the Ph.D. Regulations of the University of Calicut. Candidates seeking admission must apply through the University’s Ph.D. admission notification and satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University. Admission is based on the availability of research vacancies, fulfillment of eligibility requirements, and performance in the entrance examination and/or interview, wherever applicable, as per University norms. Candidates who have qualified for exemption from the entrance examination under the University regulations shall be considered accordingly.
Applicants must possess a relevant postgraduate degree with the minimum marks or equivalent grade prescribed by the University of Calicut and meet all other eligibility conditions notified by the University from time to time. The final admission is subject to verification of original certificates, approval by the University, and the availability of recognized research supervisors in the respective departments.
